Lifetime Bulb Lifespan Test

Lighting products is conducted under controlled laboratory conditions at rated voltage and ambient temperature to monitor its lifespan.

Intensity Distribution Testing

Static Positioning Test
Precisely locates the light intensity center of the luminaire using laser alignment in a darkroom.

Dynamic Rotation Test
Rotates the luminaire 360 degrees while collecting real-time intensity data to generate distribution curves.

Photoelectric Performance Test

LED luminaires are powered and tested at the center of an integrating sphere, with key photometric, colorimetric and electrical parameters measured after stabilization.

Connector Durability

Charging ports subjected to water immersion, gun heads run over by vehicle wheels, and individual plug drop tests from about 3m height.

Package Drop Test

Simulates transportation hazards. Filled product boxes are dropped from heights (0.5m–1.5m) onto edges, corners, and surfaces. Post-test inspections check for structural damage and functional integrity.

Rollover Test

Products placed on concrete are run over by a standard tire (P225/75R15) at 5000N ± 250N pressure and 8 km/h ± 2 km/h speed. Products must remain safe and functional.

Dust Resistance

Evaluates sealing performance using controlled dust concentrations (2–20 kg/m³) and airflow (1–10 m/s). Complies with IP5X (limited dust ingress) and IP6X (total dustproof) standards.

Rain Test

Spray and immersion tests per GB/T 4208, validating water resistance levels such as IPX3 (spray at 60°), IPX4 (splash-proof), and IPX5/6 (water jet).

Climatic Testing

Covers temperature extremes (-40°C to 200°C), damp heat (e.g., 85°C/85% RH), and salt spray corrosion (5% NaCl solution).

Needle Flame Test for Flame-Retardant Components

A standardized needle flame generator (0.5 mm nozzle, ≥35 mm length) fueled by high-purity butane (≥95%) is applied to the sample for a specified duration. During and after ignition, observers record ignition behavior, flame spread, dripping, and whether droplets ignite the underlying tissue. The test evaluates fire resistance under fault conditions.
